Cancellation and Refund Policy
Order Confirmation and Cancellation
Upon receiving your order, we will generate an invoice and send you an order confirmation via email. This email will contain all relevant details of your order.
It is the responsibility of the customer to check if the product(s) purchased and lead time(s) are correct. Editions will not be obligated to fulfil the order if there are any discrepancies after 3 business days from the time of order.
We will contact you through WhatsApp to confirm your order.
You may cancel your order and receive a 100% refund within 3 business days of the order confirmation.
We offer partial refunds depending on the stage of production your order has reached. Please see below for details:
Sofa Frame Completion
You will receive the first update via WhatsApp when the sofa frame is completed.
If you decide to cancel your order at this stage, you will be eligible for a 70% refund for display products.
Cushion Completion
You will receive the second update upon completion of the cushions. We will also confirm with you on your chosen fabric.
Ad hoc updates are available on demand during this stage.
Fabric Attachment to Sofa
You will receive the third update when the fabric has been attached and the sofa is ready for shipment.
We will perform a final check at this stage before shipping your order.
If you cancel your order at this stage, you will be eligible for a 50% refund for display products. All our products are customised items, therefore no refunds will be issued after this stage.
Final Confirmation and Shipment
All sofas shipped will come in wood frames to ensure no damage happens to the product during transportation.
Shipment usually takes 3 to 4 weeks before it arrives in our warehouse in Singapore. We will work with you to confirm a delivery date and time that suits your schedule.
General Return Conditions
All refund requests must be initiated within 24 hours of receiving the update. Example: If you received an update at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, and would like to cancel the order, you will need to reply to the WhatsApp message to cancel the order before 2:59 PM, Thursday.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 7 business days. We will issue refunds in the form of a credit back to the original method of payment. However, Editions reserves the rights to change the mode of refund.
5 Year Frame Warranty
Editions guarantees that the frame and suspension system of its sofas and chairs will be free from manufacturer’s defects for up to 5 years. This includes structural damages, but not damages from use. Modifications made to the structure by the customer, including installation of third party legs, waives this guarantee.
Damages
We encourage you to inspect your item(s) upon receipt. If in the rare circumstance that you suspect there may be a manufacturing defect, we’ll work with you to correct it. To report any issues, send a photo to enquiries@editions.com.sg within 48 hours.
We work closely with our factory to ensure each production run falls within our approved variance range. Minor variances in size and shape may occur, as our products are handmade to order. We recommend you refer to the swatches shipped to you to ensure that the sofa is indeed of the colour and fabric of your choice.
